A European-only version of the Attack of the Clones movie cards, this set is sure to be a hot collectible for fans of Star Wars trading cards worldwide.

The set does have great promise as a true collectors set.

The 100 card base set will be completely different from the U.S. released Attack of the Clones set. Although, like the U.S. set it is a standard-sized card set, and one that is broken down into sections, that may be where the similarity ends.

This card set will have 78 (not 69) story-line cards, five vehicle cards, five planet cards, and ten foil character cards. The other two cards in the set are the checklist and the title card. Planet and vehicle cards are not subsets in the U.S. set, and are interesting choices for this set. Additionally, this set has more images in the cards that are detailing the story for the film. With cards in each set to be different from each other, most collectors will easily want to try for both sets.

Although printed on a thinner card stock than has become the norm for American card sets, the Topps UK issue of this set represents a new commitment to collectors outside the US. The UK hasn't had its own card set for Star Wars since the release of the Special Editions in 1997. This set represents a quality set presented for non-US collectors.

When originally planned, this set was intended to include autograph cards. The sell-sheet even includes information about potential autographers who were considered for inclusion in the set. In the process of developing the set however, it was decided not to include autographs in this particular card set. Autographs were instead added to the Widevision release.
